President Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of outpatient clinic No 14 in the Ahmadli settlement in Baku’s Khatai district.
On 1 April 2011, during familiarization with the work on the socioeconomic development of the Ahmadli settlement, President Ilham Aliyev gave the instruction on the construction of a new outpatient clinic there. Following an order signed by the head of state on 1 April 2011, 1.5 million manats were allocated for the construction of this medical institution.
After arriving in Ahmadli, President Ilham Aliyev reviewed a photo stand describing the previous and current state of the health clinic.
The head of the Khatai district Executive Authority, Rasim Mammadov, said the previous building of the outpatient clinic covering an area of 780 square meters did not meet the needs of local residents. The new three-storey building, which has a modern architectural style, covers an area of 3,600 square meters.
The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the clinic and reviewed the building.
In the lobby of the clinic there is a photo stand reflecting the care and attention of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev and
President Ilham Aliyev for the development of healthcare in the country.
It was noted that the first floor of the clinic houses the reception, the offices and the department of functional diagnostics.
The therapeutic and pediatric units are on the second floor, while the neurological and inpatient departments are on the third. The modern equipment available here will enable provision of qualified medical services.
President Ilham Aliyev met with local resident Gurbanali Alizadeh who thanked the head of state for the great care and attention.
