LIMBO performance, presented by UNHCR, is dedicated to problems of people, which enforced to leave their homes and are placed into refugee camp. The performance, based on the play of Ismayil Iman, staged by Tarlan Rasulov.
The performance made in immersive theatre style. There’s no any division into stage and audience, actor and spectator, and the main feature of the play is immersion of spectators into atmosphere of action. That was a reason of showing the performance in non-theatrical place – at Azerbaijan Carpet Museum. The main purpose for actors in interactive acting is creation a close contact with spectators and making them participants of performance. Here every viewer has an opportunity to be a part of plot and influence on the storyline.
