ANAMA’s press service informs that on 14 November 2020, 16:30 pm, Əhmadov Yasin Alaskar born in 1984 and his brother Ahmadov Asif Alaskar born in 1989 were hit by an anti-personnel mine while grazing cattle on the hazardous area banned to be used by civilian population in the liberated Alkhanli village of Fizuli region.
As a result of the explosion, Ahmadov Yasin Alasgar was killed and Ahmadov Asif Alasgar was seriously injured.
The Agency's deminers were deployed to the area to evacuate the civilians. During the evacuation operation, Ahmadov Asif Alasgar was relocated from the area, and during the evacuation of Ahmadov Yasin Alasgar the Agency's deminer Asaf Khudiyev Mursal, born in 1979, while on duty was hit by anti-personnel mine buried by the enemy, resulting in traumatic amputation of his left leg ankle and was heavily wounded by multiple fragments.
Khudiyev Asaf Mursal was placed at the Fizuli Diagnostic Center and immediately underwent surgery operation, his position remains consistently serious.
We would like to emphasize once again that these areas are liberated from occupation and for security reasons, the entry of civilians into the area is strictly prohibited.
