Current condition in the rivers of the Republic and in the transboundary river

According to the National Department for Hydrometeorology of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, currently, water richness holds 170-270% of decade norm in Quba-Khachmaz region rivers of Major Caucasus, 140-320% in Minor Caucasus rivers, 100-200% in Lankaran-Astara region rivers.
Current condition in the transit rivers
On October 21, 13cm fall in water level was issued in Giragkesemen settlement of Kura river. Currently water consumption holds 192m3/sec in the settlement, i.e 16% of decade norm (in 2015, 153m3/sec, i.e 93% of decade norm. 22cm fall in water level has been observed in Ayrichay settlement of Qanikh River. At present, water consumption holds 163m3/sec, i.e 177% of decade norm. (in 2015, 137m3/sec, i.e 149% of decade norm).
Current condition in the downstream of Kura river
On October 21, rise of water level has been observed in the downstream of Kura River. In this regard, 5 cm in Surra, 14 cm in Salyan, 12 cm in Banka, 8 cm in Novruzlu settlement of Aras. At present, water level holds 574cm (on October 21, 2015, 386cm) in Surra settlement, 385cm (on October 21, 2015, 220cm) in Salyan, 285cm (on October 21, 2015, 193cm) in Banka, while 285cm (on October 21, 2015, 84cm) in Novruzlu settlement of Aras river.
