The final of the International IT Championship “Golden Byte 2017” held with support of the Ministry of Education for the first time in Azerbaijan has taken place.
The fourth-year undergraduate student of the Faculty of Technology and Design of UNEC Fagan Chelebizade’s Project “TagWishes” took II place in the nomination “Web Project”.
Note that, 450 people of 780 participants reached to the selection stage of the championship from Azerbaijan, 100 were selected for the final. Projects were introduced in 8 different nominations: Start Up Challenge, Web Project, Game Design, Character Design, Mobile Development, Internet of things and Junior Competition for the participants between 10-17. The main topic of the projects presented was “Invent. Create. Change”.
The winners of II and III places were introduced gifts presented by the partners of the rivalry Lenovo, Huawei, Maxi.az and Ultra.
The TagWishes Project has become the winner of the Business Idea Competition “Made in Azerbaijan” jointly held among the students by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Youth and Sports, “Capital Bank” OSC, UNEC and Innovative Business Incubator, as well as the granting competition held by the State Fund for the Development of Information Technologies under the Ministry of Communication and Higher Technologies.
TagWishes is a social networking developed by UNEC student. The users place the things they want to receive as a gift, their desires and goal on their profile via the network. The mobile application of the TagWishes can be downloaded here.
