On August 31, 2018, Knowledge Sharing Seminar was held at the “ASAN Service” Center No.3, on Presentation the Results of the Training Program titled “Capacity Building for public service of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations (SAPSSI)” which was organized previous year in Korea for the officials of the SAPSSI within the framework of the KOICA Grant Programs.
The Knowledge Sharing Seminar took place in response to the increased focus both locally and internationally on the public service delivery. Presenters from the SAPSSI Mr. Tural Naghiyev, Senior advisor at the ASAN 3 and Mr. Nurlan Hamidli, Chief Advisor of the Department of E-Services Development and Social Innovations made presentation on Korea’s experience in public service delivery including e-government and m-government in order to share the knowledge they earned through the Training Program in Korea.

The Seminar also aimed at presenting achievement and challenges that those officials applied such knowledge and experience to their work in order to improve e-gov and d-brain in Azerbaijan. Moreover, the Seminar offered great opportunity for the SAPSSI officials by bringing together professionals from a variety of different departments of SAPSSI to exchange and share their experiences and learn from each other.

As known, today’s workforce is increasingly transient, often moving from one job to the next every few years. If the employees do not effectively share the knowledge they possess, their explicit and tacit knowledge will leave the organization when they do. A big step for an organization is to pay more attention to Knowledge Sharing and encourage the employees to work together and disseminate the knowledge, experience and skills they learned
