The Korean experts were dispatched to the Ministry of Education to implement“The Technical Assistance (Grant) Project for Teachers’ Capacity Building and Establishment of Educational Information System for the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan”funded by Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). The meetingwas held on August 26, 2019 in the Bureau on ICT for Education.
The KOICA, as the donor organization of the project, will allocate6 (six) million dollars to establish theMaster Plan on teacher training informatization, develop of E-Learning System, establish of Multimedia Center, and provide equipment for the Data Center of Bureau on ICT for Educationduring the upcoming 36 months.
Ms. Park Kumok the Country Director of KOICA Azerbaijan Office who attending at the meeting on August 26, in her speech underlined that “This project will contribute to the human resource development of the teachers of the Republic of Azerbaijan and government officialsby sharing the know-how of Korean technology and development experience. As well as quality of class will be improved through establishing e-learning system for training of the teachers”.
Mr. VusalKhanlarov the Head of Bureau on ICT for Education of the Ministry of Education in his turnexpressed his gratitude to the KOICA and assurance that all participants of the project will contribute their best for the implementation of this project.
