On January 15th, students of the 5th and 6th grade of the English stream of the "Dunya" School revived the life and work of world-renowned scientists Marie Curie and Dimitri Mendeleev. The purpose of the performance was to convey the importance of trying out ideas to inspire students in science and to discover the secrets of the world of science.
The performance consisted of 2 parts: The Life and Creativity of Marie Curie and Dimitri Mendeleev. Narrators of the first part Ulkar Heydarli and Ramazan Tatarayev and 5B Grade students were presenting the discoveries made by the scientist and her personal life and health to the audience. Aziza Allahverdiyeva from 5B, leading character, performed Marie Curie's desire to study and at the
same time be a caring child, and then move from Poland to France, where she met her husband, Pierre Curie- Furgan Mammadov. The fact that Marie Curie is the only woman to have won the Nobel Prize twice in Science proves that she is a truly genius scientist.
In the second part, the 6th graders revived Dimitri Mendeleyev's personal and scientific life with the help of narrators Reyhan Mammadli and Ali Suleymanli. The audience was eagerly watching the leading role, Mehdi Mehdizadeh - Dimitri Mendeleyev, his discovery of the Periodic Table and the role of her mother, Maria- Zeynab Allahverdiyeva, who made important differences in his personal and scientific life.
This educational and encouraging performance was organized with the guidance of the Science teacher of the English stream of the Dunya School, Ms. Guliyeva Yegana.
