Pashinyan: We expect the Armenia-Turkey border to open soon

"In the near future, in parallel with the development of the TRIPP project, we expect the opening of the Armenia-Turkey border, as well as railway connections between Armenia and Azerbaijan and Armenia and Turkey."

Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated this on October 6 at the Armenia-Britain Business Forum held in Yerevan.

He noted the importance of establishing a railway connection between the Persian Gulf and the Black Sea as a result of the implementation of the TRIPP project. 

According to him, the North-West highway project is being implemented at full speed, and parallel to the railway, the opening of roads in the East-West direction is also planned.
