National championship of young wrestlers has started in Ganja

On February 3, at the Ganja Olympic Sports Complex, the qualifying Azerbaijan championship in sports wrestling among 17-year-old (U-17) youths was started with the performance of Greek-Romanians. According to the information provided by AGF, on the first day of this championship held under the main sponsorship of "May Group" and "Azer Group" the classics weighing 55, 63, 72, 82 and 97 kg went on the mat. The finalists in these weights have been determined by the end of the day. On February 4, the final matches will be held in these weights and the national champions will be determined. On February 7, the U-20 championship will be concluded with the final matches of freestyle wrestlers. After that, the field will be given to U-15 and U-17 girls.
