More than 10 tons of drugs were confiscated

Istanbul police conducted an operation against drug smuggling.

During the simultaneous operation in Istanbul, Hekkeri, Ankara, Bursa, Izmir, Hatay, Mersin, Van, Diyarbakir and Mardin, more than 10 tons of illegal drugs were confiscated and 10 suspects were detained.

As part of the investigation, 135 properties, 47 vehicles and license plates of commercial vehicles, as well as shares in 42 companies were confiscated.

The suspects are currently being questioned.

The investigation is ongoing.
