"We are returning to Khojaly" - on the stage of Masalli

In connection with the thirty-fourth anniversary of the Khojaly genocide, the performance "We are returning to Khojaly" was performed on the stage of the Nizami Ganjavi Cultural Center of the Masalli district.
The drama written by journalist-publicist Akif Agayev was created with the participation of the collective of the People's Theater and the students of Masalli State Regional College.
At the event, which was attended by employees of the district executive power, heads of departments, organizations, cultural workers and public representatives, the dear memory of the victims of the genocide, as well as the martyrs who died for the integrity of our Motherland were firstly remembered, and our National Anthem was played.
Then, the head of the Lankaran-Astara Regional Culture Department, Bakhtiyar Kilincov, the chairman of the Masalli district organization of the New Azerbaijan Party, Seyfeddin Aliyev, spoke about the Khojaly genocide, one of the bloodiest tragedies of the last century, the services of the national leader Heydar Aliyev in bringing the crimes committed by the invaders to the world community, and the services of the country's president, Ilham Aliyev, in continuing consistent activities in this direction. The speakers emphasized that the raising of the State Flag of Azerbaijan by the Supreme Commander on October 15, 2023 in the city of Khojaly confirmed once again that the blood of the massacre victims did not remain on the ground and that their revenge was taken. The people of Khoja, Shusha, Aghdar, and Khankan who were once displaced from their native lands are returning to their homeland as representatives of the victorious nation.
Later, the play was shown. At the same time, the joy and pride of returning to Khojaly was conveyed to the audience in the stage play, which tells about the sad fate of the victims of the tragedy. The performance was highly appreciated by the participants and guests.
It should be noted that the production directors of the play, which includes actors and students, Kardashali Badalov, Aybeniz Hasanova, Javid Guliyev, Nazrin Hanifayeva, Sevinj Babayeva, Kanan Gasimov, Nazim Seyfullayev, Ravan Abbaszade, Mirsajjad Sultanov and Farid Nasirov, and the stage and music designers are Elsever Aliyev and Ruslan Zahidov.
