Leyla Aliyeva met with the Prime Minister of Ethiopia

A meeting was held between Leyla Aliyeva and Prime Minister of Ethiopia Abiy Ahmed Ali.

During the conversation, the current situation and prospects of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Ethiopia were discussed in detail.

During the meeting, which took place under conditions of sincere dialogue, Leyla Aliyeva conveyed the greetings of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the other party and invited the Prime Minister to visit our country on behalf of the head of our state.

Prime Minister of Ethiopia Abiy Ahmed Ali accepted the invitation with great pleasure, spoke with high respect about the President of Azerbaijan and expressed his kind words.

The Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for the rapid development process in our country. He emphasized the visionary policy implemented by President Ilham Aliyev and his high reputation in the international world, and spoke about the importance of deepening cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

At the meeting, information was also provided on the large-scale restoration and construction works carried out in the lands freed from occupation.

It was emphasized that the successful experience of the COP29 hosted by Azerbaijan in November 2024 was met with great interest. The possibility of applying this experience at the COP32 conference to be held in Ethiopia in 2027 was discussed. The importance of exchange of experience between both countries in this important field was once again mentioned.
