Leyla Aliyeva visited the Louvre Abu Dhabi museum and the Ibrahim Family House
Leyla Aliyeva visited the Louvre Abu Dhabi museum and The Abrahamic Family House on February 5.
First, Leyla Aliyeva visited the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum.
Louvre Abu Dhabi, the first foreign branch of the famous Louvre museum in Paris, is located on Saadiyat Island. The museum, designed by French architect Jean Nouvel, was opened to visitors in November 2017.
Many works of art representing different eras and civilizations are exhibited in the museum's permanent collection. In addition, works presented by partner museums are also included in the exposition.
Then Leyla Aliyeva got acquainted with The Abrahamic Family House.
In 2019, the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, announced the establishment of Ibrahim's family home. This unique complex combines the Ahmed Al-Tayyib Mosque, the Church of St. Francis and the Musa bin Maimon Synagogue in the same space. In addition to religious chapels, there is also an educational center where visitors can learn more about different religions.
