Leyla Aliyeva met with Albanian President Bayram Begay in Tirana

Leyla Aliyeva met with the President of the Republic of Albania Bayram Begay in Tirana.

During the conversation, President Bayram Begay noted that the exhibition opened at the residence of the Prime Minister of Albania is an important stage in the development of relations between the two nations.

Leyla Aliyeva emphasized that the foundation of relations between Azerbaijan and Albania goes beyond formal protocols.

The issue of eliminating logistical difficulties was touched upon in the meeting. The necessity of launching direct flights to Baku-Tirana was emphasized.

Considering that Albania has 300 sunny days a year, the development of year-round tourism and ecotourism concepts in the country, as well as the creation of joint routes connecting Albania, Montenegro and Kosovo, were discussed.

It was reported that there is great interest in Azerbaijani investments in the economic field, especially in the tourism sector. It was noted that the successful projects implemented by Azerbaijan in Montenegro will not only be repeated on the shores of Albania, but will also give greater results. During the conversation, it was stated that the political will of the leaders of the two countries was confirmed by concrete steps - cancellation of the visa regime and strengthening of diplomatic representation.

Then the President of Albania got acquainted with the MAMA "Mother Nature" international art exhibition, which was displayed at the residence of the Prime Minister.
