New wave of celebrities targeted in drug probes

In a new investigation targeting celebrities in Istanbul, arrest warrants were issued for 9 famous names. Those detained are Simge Sağın, İbrahim Çelikkol, Melek Mosso, Deha Bilimler, Mustafa Ceceli, Ersay Üner, Bengü Erden, Asli Sipahi Hacısüleymanoğlu and Ilkay Shencan.

A new operation was conducted today in the morning as part of the search for drugs in Istanbul.

In the framework of the investigation, it was decided to arrest 9 celebrities.

Simge Sağın, İbrahim Çelikkol, Melek Mosso, Deha Bilimler, Mustafa Ceceli, Ersay Üner, Bengü Erden, Aslı Sipahi Hacısüleymanoğlu and Ilkay Shencan were taken into custody.

The Beykoz Public Prosecutor's Office made the following statement regarding the operation:

"Based on the obtained evidence, received information and information, within the framework of the investigation carried out by our Public Prosecutor's Office in coordination with the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Narcotic Crimes Branch Directorate and targeting "publicly known persons" regarding the crimes of "Purchasing, receiving or possessing narcotic or stimulant substances" or "Use of narcotic or stimulant substances", in accordance with the decision received from the Beykoz Peace and Criminal Court as, on April 7, 2026, simultaneous arrest, search and confiscation operations were carried out against the suspects listed below and identified as participating in the alleged crimes."
