Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan intend to strengthen their alliance in every possible way and fill cooperation with new content

As part of the official visit to Baku, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ermek Kosherbayev was received by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

During the meeting, E. Kosherbayev conveyed warm words of greetings and best wishes from the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. “The high level of cooperation between our countries was achieved primarily thanks to a confidential dialogue at the highest level,” the Minister noted.

In this context, mutual state visits of the President of Kazakhstan K. Tokayev to Baku in March 2024, the state visit of the President of Azerbaijan I. Aliyev to Astana in October 2025, as well as the holding of the Second Meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council (SIGC) added new dynamics to the allied relations of our countries and contributed to their taking to a qualitatively new level.
