Attack on Israeli consulate in Istanbul: two more suspects detained

Two more people were detained as part of the investigation into the armed attack on the Israeli Consulate General located in the Levent neighborhood of Besiktas, Istanbul, Turkey.

The Minister of Internal Affairs of Turkey, Mustafa Çiftçi, informed about this on X social media page.

According to him, two police officers injured in the attack were successfully operated on and their condition is stable.

The minister stressed that the investigation is ongoing to fully understand the incident.

It should be noted that the law enforcement agencies have previously arrested five people allegedly involved in the attack.
