Two Azerbaijani athletes reached the finals of the European Tumbling Championship

Azerbaijani tumbling athletes Tofig Aliyev and Mikhail Malkin have qualified for the finals of the European Championship currently in Portugal.

This was reported by the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation.

Tofiq Aliyev (54,700 points) and Mikhail Malkin (54,800 points) qualified for the final stage of the individual competition. The Azerbaijani tumbling team will also compete in the team final.

Let us remind you that at the World Games to be held in Chengdu, China in 2025, Tofig Aliyev was the first gymnast to perform a triple back somersault with a complete rotation in each somersault (completely) and won a silver medal.
