On April 23, a meeting was held with the well-known children's writer Zahid Khalil under the guidance of the head of the 4th class, Rahiba Hasanova, at the Gultekin Asgarova School-High School Complex No. 200. The event was organized with the aim of increasing students' interest in fiction, developing reading culture and promoting national literary values.
The event was opened by the substitute director of the school, Tural Hatamov. In his speech, he emphasized that such meetings play an important role in the formation of students' outlook, and noted that direct communication with writers increases children's interest in reading. He also said that such events serve to strengthen the educational environment in the school.
Later, the deputy director of the school, Guler Rasulova, gave a speech. He talked about Zahid Khalil's contributions to Azerbaijani children's literature and pointed out that his works are loved and read by children. At the same time, he noted that such meetings have a positive effect on the development of students' creative abilities.
The head of class 4a, Rahiba Hasanova, gave information about the writer's life and work, and said that his works play an important role in children's moral education.
Students also actively participated in the event. Goncha Badirli greeted the guests, and Ayan Imamverdiyeva presented information about the creativity of Zahid Khalil. Poems were recited by other students and interesting speeches were made. The questions prepared by Kamal Karimov, an active student of the 4th grade, were met with interest.
During the meeting, the students showed skits based on the writer's works. Deniz Akbarova, Rugayya Mammadzade, Damla Sadygova and Ilayda Isayeva performed in the "Flower Socks" stage. Mammadli Murad, Ziya Balashzade and Rauf Suleymanli took part in the "Footballer No. 9" scene. The scenes were met with great interest.
At the end of the event, the head of class 4a, Rahiba Hasanova, thanked Zahid Khalil and emphasized that the meeting with him was memorable for the students. At the end, a commemorative photo was taken with the writer in the school yard.
