A new nursery-kindergarten opened in Nasimi district of Baku +PHOTOS=4

On August 26, First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva, and her daughters Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva attended the opening of nursery-kindergarten No. 352 in Nasimi district, Baku.

Executive Director of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Anar Alakbarov informed about the work done in the nursery-kindergarten.

It was noted that the facility, commissioned as a 116-seat kindergarten, has operated since 1972 as a republican specialized nursery-kindergarten for children with hearing impairments. Currently, it continues its activity as nursery-kindergarten No. 352.

Major renovation work was carried out in the building and a new block was constructed with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

All conditions have been created in the new nursery-kindergarten for children to receive preschool education and care, retaining a special group for children with hearing impairments. An additional two-story block with a capacity of 36 seats has been built here for children with hearing impairments.

The nursery-kindergarten features speech therapist (surdologist) rooms, play and sleep rooms, sports, event, music and dance halls, medical, dressing, and teachers' rooms. Surdologist offices, classrooms, and playrooms are equipped with the necessary equipment and furniture.

Outdoor play and sports grounds have been laid out, and gazebos have been installed for children.
