Two more US drones shot down over Iran
US forces have lost two more MQ-9 Reaper long-range reconnaissance and attack drones over Iran.
A total of 16 such drones, costing $30 million each, have been lost since the start of hostilities against Iran.
The last two MQ-9 Reapers capable of staying in the air for 24 hours were shot down yesterday near Isfahan, in central Iran.
According to sources, the precision-strike MQ-9 Reapers are relatively easy targets because they are designed to fight terrorism in environments with virtually no air defense systems, rather than for combat operations against countries with modern anti-aircraft missile systems.
