Leyla Aliyeva met with Tatyana Valovaya, Director General of the UN Office in Geneva, in Geneva.

During the fruitful meeting, views were exchanged on the environmental problems of the Caspian Sea, environmental protection and strengthening of international cooperation.

On that day, a high-level panel discussion on "Strengthening of environmental management and international cooperation for the protection of the Caspian Sea" was held at the headquarters of the UN in Geneva, jointly organized by the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the UN Department in Geneva and other international organizations, the Caspisnet scientific network and the Secretariat of the Tehran Convention.
