Iran says Mossad spy executed for leaking information

In Iran, information about the execution of a person accused of espionage for the Mossad has been published. According to government sources, the person in question is a citizen named Kourosh Kaywani.

He allegedly passed photos and information about secret facilities inside the country to Israeli intelligence. Publications called him a "Zionist spy" and emphasized the seriousness of the accusations.

According to these reports, Kayvani was executed after the trial. Official details of the trial, including the possible appearance of a defense attorney and the transparency of the trial, have not been released.

There is currently no independent verification of this information. International human rights organizations have previously expressed concern about conducting closed court proceedings on espionage cases in Iran.
