On the order of the President of Azerbaijan, the next humanitarian aid was sent to Iran

According to the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the next humanitarian aid has been dispatched to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

AZpress.AZ reports that the aid was provided in accordance with the telephone conversation between Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Masud Pezeshkian on March 8, 2026. The goal is to provide support for meeting the current needs of the neighboring and friendly Iranian people.

The total volume of humanitarian aid sent this time is 82 tons. The aid includes 76 tons of food and food products, 4 tons of medicines, as well as 2 tons of medical supplies.

The humanitarian cargo was sent by means of 5 trucks (TIR).

At the same time, taking into account the eve of Novruz holiday, a holiday gift and various Novruz products were added to the aid convoy.

Let us note that officials from the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the State Reserve Agency of Azerbaijan went on a trip to the Islamic Republic of Iran in order to accompany and present the next humanitarian aid sent by the Republic of Azerbaijan.
