"Barcelona" defeated "Newcastle" in the Champions League

"Barcelona" defeated "Newcastle United" with a score of 7-2 in the second leg of the round of 16 of the Champions League in the 2025/26 season. The game took place at "Camp Nou".

The teams scored five goals in the first half. Rafinha, Marc Bernal and Lamin Yamal scored from the penalty spot. Anthony Elanga scored two goals from the English team.

Only "Barcelona" players scored in the second half. Fermin Lopez, Robert Lewandowski (twice) and Rafinha scored.

In the 82nd minute, "Barcelona" goalkeeper Joan Garcia left the field due to an injury. Wojciech Shensny entered the field instead.

The first game between the teams in Newcastle ended in a 1-1 draw.

"Barcelona" has reached the 1/4 finals of the Champions League and will face the winner of the match between "Tottenham" and "Atletico" (first leg - 2:5).
