The first meeting of the new composition of the Public Council under the MIA was held

According to the information provided by the Public Council under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, we inform you that on March 18, the first meeting of the Public Council under the Ministry of Internal Affairs was held with a new composition. Organizational issues of the Council were discussed at the meeting, the agenda was approved and the management team was formed.
According to the voting results, Alimammad Nuriyev, the president of the "Constitution" Research Foundation, was elected the chairman of the Public Council under the MIA. Chairman of the Veterans' Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, retired police colonel Farhad Suleymanov was elected deputy chairman, member of the Union of Azerbaijan Journalists, and honored journalist Ikhtiyar Huseynli was elected secretary of the Council.
At the meeting, a decision was made to prepare the action plan of the Public Council for the next two years.
Thanking the members of the Council for the trust shown, A. Nuriyev said that the Public Council will be guided by the principles of transparency, objectivity, professionalism and strengthening of state-society cooperation in its activities, based on the rule of law.
After the meeting, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Chairman of the Election Commission for Public Council elections under the MIA, Lieutenant General Ismat Aliyev presented the cards to the members of the Council and wished them success in their activities.
