On March 17 and 18, interesting concert programs were held at the State Children's Philharmonic as part of the Nowruz Festival. Within the framework of the festival, the audience was presented with an exhibition and a fair consisting of handicrafts and paintings of the talented children of the "Social Support to Families of Children in Need of Special Care" public association.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition and fair took place on the first day of the festival. At the opening, Deputy Chairman of the public association "Social Support to Families of Children in Need of Special Care" Ibadov Muhammad expressed his deep gratitude to the management of the State Children's Philharmonic for the support given to the creation of such conditions, and gave brief information about the activities of the public association. Then the artistic part of the concert began.
In the artistic part, the talented soloists of the State Children's Philharmonic and the "Shams" children's choir gave the audience unforgettable musical moments with their interesting and colorful performances. The performances presented in the festival program brought together the beauty of national and world music and revived the spirit of spring on stage. The performances of young talents were met with great interest and applause.
On the second day of the festival, a solo concert of the "Sadaf" folk instrument ensemble of the Azerbaijan State Children's Philharmonic took place. The ensemble's artistic director Mehdiyeva Goncha and singer-teacher Niftaliyev Elbrus have been working at the Philharmonic for many years. The musical traditions preserved by our people for centuries - mughams, folk songs and composer's works form the basis of the ensemble's repertoire and keep our national musical heritage alive.
The young performers performing on the stage are talented children who grew up under the care of the Philharmonic and were distinguished by their love for our national music.
The concert opened with the performance of Mehdiyeva Goncha, artistic director of the ensemble. He talked about the ensemble's long-term activities, successes and trips to foreign countries. At the same time, Togrul Hajiyev, who was martyred in the 44-day Patriotic War and was one of the outstanding members of the ensemble, was commemorated with a minute of silence.
To congratulate the ensemble, the winner of the 5th Mugham competition, Sadaf Budagov, who has been a soloist of the State Children's Philharmonic for many years, went on stage and thanked her teachers with her performance and emphasized their hard work.
One of the interesting moments of the concert was the dance teacher of the Children's Philharmonic, Gamboroba Nurane, and Mehdiyeva Goncha, who went on stage and performed together with the ensemble.
At the end of the concert, director of the State Children's Philharmonic, pianist Saïda Tagızade and deputy director Leyla Muradzade congratulated the ensemble and teachers and wished them success in their future activities. Commemorative gifts were presented to them by the ensemble.
