An event dedicated to the International Poetry Day was held +PHOTOS

Under the auspices of the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Azerbaijan, Mr. Houssam Eldine Redan, an event dedicated to International Poetry Day was held at the Egyptian Cultural and Educational Relations Center.

AZpress.AZ informs that poetry examples of some poets of Egypt and Azerbaijan were performed at the event. (Ahmed Shawqi, Hafiz Ibrahim, Ahmed Rami, Faruq Guveyda, Salah Jahin and Mikayil Mushfiq). At the same time, the students of BSU and ASU sang a part of Imam Busiri's ode. Mr. Mazen Moussa, Counselor of the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Azerbaijan, who made the speech, thanked the students for their excellent speech.

Then, Prof. Dr. Tarek Aboul Fotouh, director of the Egyptian Center for Cultural and Educational Relations, thanked them for remembering the poets and noted that poetry plays the role of a bridge in intercultural exchange. At the end, Alaa Moussa, the Arabic language teacher of the center, made a speech and thanked the students for their participation, noting that they had worked hard and suffered while preparing for the event.
