Iftar ceremony was held on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan

On March 4, the chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office, Sheikhul Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, opened an iftar table at his residence on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.

The event was attended by Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva, as well as heads of religious denominations operating in Azerbaijan.

The Iftar ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and the Ramadan prayer.

Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazadeh, chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Board, spoke about the importance of the month of Ramadan, noted the state-religion relations and the atmosphere of religious tolerance in Azerbaijan. He said that Azerbaijan is a state that defends Islamic values, interests and interests in the world, makes important contributions to Islamic solidarity, and takes a firm stand against Islamophobia.

Then leaders of religious denominations operating in Azerbaijan and other guests made speeches. In the speeches, the steps taken by Azerbaijan in the direction of promoting interreligious and intercultural dialogue at the international level were highly appreciated, and it was emphasized that our country has formed an exemplary model in this field.

Then the iftar table was opened.
