The Turkish national team will start the World Cup against Austria

All the participants of the 23rd World Football Championship (The 2026 FIFA World Cup), which will be held from June 11 to July 19 in the USA, Canada and Mexico, as well as the game calendar, have been determined. It should be noted that 48 teams will compete for the first time in this 23rd World Championship (WC-2026). The teams are divided into 12 groups with 4 teams each. According to the regulations, the top two and 8 best third place teams in each group will advance to the 1/16 final stage of the World Cup.

The calendar of the games to be held with the participation of the Turkish national team, which is in Group D of the World Cup, is as follows:

Turkey - Australia (14.06.2026. Time 07:00);

Turkey - Paraguay (20.06.2026. Time 04:00);

Turkey - USA (26.06.2026. Time 05:00).

Let's note that the Turkish national team won the right to participate in the World Cup again after a 24-year break. It should be noted that the moon-star team last participated in the World Cup in 2002 and took third place.
